You were my cradle

This animation is a tribute to my cat, who used to curl up beside me every night, making me feel safe, held—like a cradle.

The original illustration was hand-drawn with watercolour and ink, months before he passed away. After losing him, I coped with the grief by writing a poem, and decided to bring the drawing to life through animation. It became a way to honor the quiet intimacy we shared and to hold onto his presence just a little longer.
